MAGICAL!
Loved every performance and David's song arrangements, especially "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" & "Joy to the World!" The opening "Winter Wonderland" instantly delivered a very festive, happy, and hopeful atmosphere.

Mairead continues to captivate and enchant us with her incredible violin playing. Got emotional with Meav's "What Child is This?" & "Silent Night" as well as Lisa Lambe's "Auld Lang Syne." Goodness, Meav and Lisa's singing have gotten even more angelic. Susan is a fantastic, new to Celtic Woman, artist. All adorable!

Bonus songs--deeply appreciated these heart-warming, personal, and meaningful moments shared between David, Lisa L., Susan, Meav, and Mairead. The audiences' reactions were simply sweet and priceless!

Missed Lisa K, Chloe, and the others--wishing them well & hoping to see them again, soon.

Home For Christmas: Live From Dublin - Disappointing DVD
The music was fine and enjoyable, but the presentation was horrible. The director/editor let his ego get in the way of showing the viewers what the performers were doing. The program had tremendous performers in terms of talent; the music chosen was very appropriate for the occassion; and the staging and lighting was exceptional. The director/editor showed absolutely no respect for any of these aspects. I was subjected to hard cuts throughout (not one dissolve, roll focus or other appropriate technique). Through every piece there were multiple shots of the audience which was a major distraction. No sensitivity or respect was given to the music or the performers. I retired after 42 years in the TV business directing, operating equipment and videographing. I have seen products better than this coming out of a basic directing class. Excellent across the board! Lisa and Chloe arent on this but the new lineup is very good. great family holiday fun!
